10k Flash: 1985 BMW 320i Euro 4Door MTech w/M50 I6 Swap
The E30 BMW 3-series continues to have some of the better buys on the market for folks looking for rear drive, manual trans equipped sedans. We really like the look of this 1985 BMW 320i European import equipped with a M50 inline 6 swap, for sale in Charlotte, NC for $8500 via r3vlimted.com forums.
This E30 presses all the right buttons on the cosmetic front with its small European bumpers, mild lowering, 15inch BBS wheels, custom plaid seating fabric and Karminrot red paint.
The M50 swap looks right at home in this engine bay – expect 189 horsepower and 185 ft-lbs of torque from this eagerly revving SOHC 2.5 liter inline 6.
The dash is crack free, the custom seat inserts look period correct and sweet – nothing inside this E30 to complain about.
The only problem we see with this car is the lack of catalyst and Euro vin status may make it difficult to import into a state like California, and this car is offered on the high end of the E30 sedan price range. Do its specs and condition justify the price?

Isn't the M50 a dual over head cam? Pretty sure it is…
