10k: Devil In The Details: 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass
The first generation Cutlass was a compact from Oldsmobile that shared its A-body platform
with the Pontiac Tempest, Buick Special and Chevy Chevelle. The Cutlass
was equipped with a 215 cubic inch all-aluminum V8 that was the eventually morphed into the infamous Buick (Rover) V8. Find this 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass for sale in Carencro, LA currently bidding on ebay for $7,500 with a few days to go. Tip from Oldsmobuick.
This F-85 is being sold as a low mile all original car with a large set of aftermarket wheels/tires mounted…and very little details are provided. What we can tell is that it has been lowered significantly and looks like its been through at least one recent restoration – everything is just too clean in the photos. Regardless the current bidding is very fair, but probably reflects the total lack of details…caveat emptor.

~ '62 Chevelle? '64, yes. but i'd call that second generation F-85, Cutlass, Special, Skylark, Tempest. does '61 to '63 Chevy II share with A bodies from BOP?
~ here is a proposal from 1964 called the Chevy Super Nova “Shark” built on ChevyII 110-inch wheelbase. think this would have outsold Mustang?
