World Famous: 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass International Series
International can be somewhat of an abused term – think Daytona “International” Speedway. Though international in this case probably meant Mexico, Canada, and the United States, this Quad 4 Cutlass model featured all the comfort of the Calais with a manual gearbox and batmobile cladding. In a time when most domestic offerings had pushrods and velour, the term International was nearly fitting. When scouting out Quad 4 powered top-spec compact Oldsmobiles, most masochists gravitate towards the last generation of the 442. Though with two extra doors, the Cutlass Calais and International series were slightly tamer but got a substantial boost in practicality.
There have been fewer styling trends that say welcome to the 90’s louder than a swirly three spoke aluminum wheel, except maybe ABS plastic body molding. Luckily, you won’t have to pick between trends as this car has everything but the digital dash. I believe there’s even an equalizer under the radio.
Racy buckets have been reverted back to a more traditional Olds comfort spec thanks to sheepskin seat covers. A surprise never fails to await those who peel back the covers. In this case, the result will likely be positive given the condition of the rest of the vehicle. Another good sign: aftermarket rubber floormats that don’t have a Loony Toons character on them.

Ad says "This car turns heads"… Why, so you don't throw up on the person next to you?
Still think the only car that looks right with tri-spoke wheels is a Saab.
He cleverly makes the tore-up seats sound sexy.
What a POS.
This is amazing vintage car.
While I would NOT proudly roll to cars and coffee in this, I wold probably go for giggles cause I'm a little goofy anyway.."Look it has the HO quad 4!!!" 🙂
On the flip, this car exudes what daily turismo is about in my eyes, cheap, a little quirky/differnet, good condition for year, and capable of daily work where something like the just posted GTV is not a good daily in most crap weather states.
