Who Is Paul Normand? 4 Classic Recreations
I’m gonna come clean with everyone here and admit that I wasn’t familiar with the name Paul Normand, until yesterday. But, Paul isn’t a Carroll Shelby or John DeLorean character who worked with big budgets, and instead is an old time hot rodder who cranks out a few cars a year. The result is that when the spring thaw comes to Rochester, New Hampshire, a few lucky folks can buy one of his creations. Right now a seller named o07hoopty claims to be an exclusive broker and has four of Paul’s masterpieces on eBay.
First up is this 1928 Packard Speedster offered here on eBay for $21,900 buy-it-now or make offer located in Rochester, NH. This 18-foot long beast is powered by an inline-8 from a 1950 Packard and features a hand-stitched interior that is beyond awesome.
Next up is this 1935 Ford Boat Tail Speedster offered here on eBay for $15,900 buy-it-now or make-offer located in Rochester, NH with 18 days to go. Power is provided from a ’35 Ford flathead V8 that is mated to a 3-speed manual.
The next hot hod is a recreation of a 1970 Chevrolet Indy 500 racer offered here on eBay for $23,900 buy-it-now or make-offer located in Rochester, NH with 17 days to go. The Bardahl Special is powered by a 400 cubic inch Chevy small block V8 mated to an automatic gearbox.
Finally we’ve got a 1963 Ford Indy 500 racer offered here on eBay for $23,900 buy-it-now or make-offer located in Rochester, NH with 16 days to go. Powering this thing is a small block Ford V8 mated to an automatic transmission. I’d rather have a manual gearbox in one of these beasts, but who am I to mess with the Mr Normand’s vision?

I'd love one of those Indy cars, but would have to convert it to a manual transmission for sure. Too bad they don't have any videos of them driving around.
