W202 Driver: 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG

I can’t say that I’ve had any experience with the C43 AMG, but I did own and daily drive a C36 AMG a few years ago…so I’ve got something to say. First up, the W202 C-Class chassis isn’t a terrible platform for an M3 competitor, but the old-school recirculating ball (non-rack and pinion) steering system was a weak point. The 4.3 liter SOHC V8 that pushes out 302 horsepower into a 5-speed auto isn’t a bad way to go from point A to point B if you like driving something different. Find this 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG offered for $13,500 in Los Angeles, CA via famgbook placemark.

The recirculating ball power steering was also my single biggest gripe about my otherwise very cromulent 1st gen RX7.
+1 for “cromulent.”
Wasn’t Spock’s mom originally born on Cromulus?
+2 for cromulent.
