I’ve always wanted to do my own version of Top Gear road trip with a few friends…and I can’t imagine a more perfect vehicle for a cross-continental trip than this next thing. It started as a simple 924, but somebody put some off-road style wheels and tires, followed by a campter top and finished with some rad fog lights. The only thing missing is late-night alcoholism and hilarity to make the perfect Top Gear/Grand Tour road trip car. CAR IS NOT RUNNING AT THE MOMENT. Was running a few weeks ago. Might be the battery, might be something else. fuel lines need replacing and it just had a new engine put in it a month ago. I do not know what is causing it to nit run and just need it gone. It has brand new professionally reupholstered seats that cost $2500 to get done.

Sounds like a prime candidate for a unique Airbnb. Just tow it home, park it in the backyard, and rent it out for $50/night.
If you’re lucky, you could get it paid off in a year or two.
You can find RUNNING 924s online for about the same price, and the rooftop camper kit on this buggy runs about $400 from Alibaba (and $1500 if you want to buy it from a reseller… who bought that same tent Alibaba…)
So… you decide: Buy a running 924 and kit it out yourself, or buy a gently used 924 that had a new engine put in a month ago… and doesn’t run.

that interior fab. was trying to figure out the purpose of the wood structure atop the boxes. from pic with the hatch raised i see it is a light bar for the um, kitchen. a
nd then from the drivers door rear interior shot, looks like a propane tank connector. not sure that is a great idea here with no securing jig visible, but if the stove could tilt up perpendicular , perhaps it could serve as a blue flame cosplay afterburner.
