Svenska Nötter: 1999 Saab 9-5 Wagon

Car enthusiasts love spending money on the hobby. I don’t say this as a bad thing, but it is something that I get reminded when I see things like this next car. The seller has put over $20k of cash in the car, including a stage 4 tune that puts something like 400 horsepower into the front wheels of a simple Saab 9-5 wagon. I’d concede that the seller is asking top dollar for this thing, because you could get a clean 9-5 wagon for a lot less, but then you’ve got to spend the time and money to catch this one. Find this 1999 Saab 9-5 Wagon offered for $12,500 in Westminster, CO via craigslist. Tip from Jeff.

1999 Saab 9-5 Wagon, the build was over 20k, stage 4 tune, 400hp brand new hand built motor by East Of Sweden In Boulder Colorado in 2014. The car is in mint mechanical condition and was babied through out its life as you can see in pictures, its super clean. All control arms boots and mounts and rubber components are new. The build was done in 2014, the motor shell, crank and pistons were hardened by a spec racing shop in Indiana. The body at the time had 208k miles on it, everything is new on the motor, brand new 5 speed transmission imported from Trollhattan, Sweden in 2016 and installed at 212k miles, brand new brake booster and tank, new fuel pump, new ac compressor and lines, new alternator, new valves and sensors, new radiator, updated valve cover vent kit, the motor has 16,000 miles on it, the transmission has 13,000 miles on it. The build includes, T19 turbo, ETS aluminum intercooler, large fuel injectors, spec 3 racing clutch, racing catalytic converter, 3” Taliaferro Imports down pipe, Taliaferro polished intake, and 2.5” BSR exhaust. Custom Polished motor mount and Valve cover, Brand new Maptune 1.5” lowering suspension imported from Netherlands. I have a new bumper for the car that I have not installed, I was planning to repaint the car and install a clear bra on the front of the car due to the road rash. I have a bin full of spare parts as well. The sound system is 7 Focal speaker with a Pioneer touchscreen deck with MTX subs and two amps and a capacitor. The car is very fast and it’s a blast to drive, I am sad to sell this car as I have owned it since 2006, I have all the records and receipts. Just had another baby and family needs have changed so one of the toys has to go.

See a better way to get the kids to scream weeeeeeeeeee! tips@dailyturismo.com
