Slow and Easy: 1983 Porsche 944

The E30 BMW with the lowely low compression ETA engine we posted yesterday got me thinking that perhaps getting the base model of a cool car is the right way to save your cash for other things. You could spend a bunch of money on a Porsche 944 Turbo, or you could get the basic version and enjoy your time on the road….more time because you are driving slower. Find this 1983 Porsche 944 offered for $5993 in Sedona, AZ via craigslist.

Looks like the previous owner was an HVAC guy!
I had the same reaction, StingrayV12. Pretty clean install, though.
Only ducts I’d ever seen on the 944s were NACA ducts. So I searched the interwebs… and whatdya know… lots of aftermarket ducts for the 944.
Who knew?
(not me, and I owned a 944 for many years, never saw one with twin ducts).

Nice wheels and good looking 1983 P944. I have 1988 P924S and love it except when I need to use the A/C. I had it fixed a while ago but it uses a lot of power and reduces the fun factor.
