Simple Times Classic: 1976 AMC Hornet

The AMC Hornet rolled onto the scene in 1970, taking over from the Rambler American as the go-to compact family car. It stuck around until 1977 when it passed the baton to the AMC Concord and the excellent AMC Eagle crossover. The Hornet wasn’t a huge commercial success, but I’d love to have one in the garage for sunny day cruising. Find this 1976 AMC Hornet offered for $7,800 in Lisle, IL via amcplace marketbasket.
