I feel like a king whenever I drive it. E-Class Touring wagon (T124) – They never made cars this solid again! From when engineers ran Mercedes, the final evolution of the famed W123 series. M103 non-interference engine + wire harness are proven reliable (NOT biodegradable like later models). Doors close with a deep thunk like a bank vault. Baller.
Service records from new. Lifetime California car—not even a speck of rust. Never smoked in. 3rd owner here. Owner for 1st 20 years was the dealership; 2nd owner was 96-year-old man. Babied all her life!

No comments on how nice this wagon is? A 30 year-old car that looks 3 years old? Really? I guess it’s left us all speechless. It really is a beauty. That MB-Tex interior looks like it’s never touched a butt.
I’ve always wanted one of these, but I’m learning that wants and needs are two different things. But I’m sure this would be superior to what I’ve got.
I think this car is TOO nice to make any snarky comments about the becker tape deck being from a 88 model or some other pedantry. This is a nice car, it just needs a stick shift to be perfect IHMO!
