The 5th generation Mustang (SN-95) was given a mid-model update in 1999 with the debut of the “New Edge” styling. Gone were the soft lines of the earlier models and in its place were hard lines and big wheel arches…not a bad change if you ask me. Power in the GT model continued to come from the same 260 horsepower 4.6 liter SOHC V8. Today’s model is scruffy, but the asking price is low. 2002 Mustang GT 4.6l V8 engine and manual transmission. Has only 72k miles. Nicely optioned with leather interior and Mach 1000 system. Sounds nice with BBK X pipe and SLP exhaust. Some minor upgrades like cold air intake, short throw shifter, steeda cowl hood. New battery and fuel pump. Mustang is in good driving condition but needs some TLC to be perfect. The biggest thing it needs is paint work – the clear coat is flaking off roof, spoiler, hood. Window tint is bubbling. An exhaust leak just started as well.
