The Chevrolet Corsica was a plus sized compact car built on GM’s L-Body platform shared with the Pontiac Tempest/GrandAm, Chevy Beretta, Oldsmobile Achieva, and Buick Skylark. It was the successor to the much maligned Citation for the 1987 model year and was succeeded by the Malibu for the 1996 model year. It was yet another example of GM changing model names to confuse people at the showroom instead of sticking to known models names. A buyer showing up at a Chevy dealer after sending his 5 year old Citation to the junkyard would see the Corisca and say “I’d never buy another Citation, but I’ll try this new Corsica”. For whatever reason, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry owners didn’t seem to have this same issue. Find this 1994 Chevrolet Corsica offered for $3495 in Austin, TX via craigslist.
