One of 511: 1976 Jensen GT


The Jensen GT is a shooting brake version of the Jensen-Healey that was produced from Sept of 1975 through May 1976 in limited numbers before Jensen Motors went belly up. According to various internet sources, a total of 511 GTs were produced during the year of production. You don’t see these very often and this one is offered for a decent deal for such a rare bird. Find this 1976 Jensen GT offered for $9,500 in Oakley, CA via craigslist.

Up for sale is a rare 76 Jensen GT. Only 511 cars ever built. Its a driver car. Run and drive great. 5spd, gearbox shifting smooth through all gears. The paint looks great in pictures but its a 10 footer paint. It has rust on panel behind passenger’s door(see photo).
It has surface rust on floors but not rotten. Attention California buyer – It needs air pump and catalyst converter to pass smog. Air rail is still intact.The car will be sold in as is or for parts. For more info about the car please contact me.

Believe it or not , back in 1978 on a hillside deep in the forest in NorCal near the Russian River, amidst what appeared to be a “farming” area, there sat one of these more or less abandoned on a trail…even then I thought that was kinda weird. This would look nice with smaller bumpers.
