Nice N-Body? 1992 Buick Skylark Gran Sport

The Skylark name has been used on compact Buicks since 1953, and in 1992 they released the 6th generation with some awkward styling on GM’s N-body platform (Olds Achieva/Cutlass, Poncho Grand Am, Chevy Beretta/Corsica/Malibu. The front end had a beak-like appearance and the rear end wasn’t much to celebrate either…but with two-tone body coloring and a three decades of aging…I sorta like it. Does that mean there is something wrong with me? Find this 1992 Buick Skylark Gran Sport offered for $7995 from small car dealer in Wichita, KS.

From the seller:

Check out this blast from the past obscure time capsule! For sale is a 1992 Buick Skylark Gran Sport Sedan! This is a clean title 3 owner sedan that shows zero accidents or damage via Carfax and only 41k miles!!! This car is in excellent condition inside and out and runs and drives perfectly. The AC blows cold! I remember these cars when they came out. I used to see quite a few base models running around. They were definitely curious looking cars. I had totally forgot about them until I found this one. Not only are they not around anymore, but I found the top GS version of it with only 41k original miles! This car is powered by the super reliable 3.3L V-6 engine that puts out respectable power for the time at 160hp/185lb-ft. It is also rated at 26mpg highway.

It drives the front wheels through an automatic transmission. I love the 90’s look and feel of this car. What was really a weird looking car in the day looks cool and ahead of its time today in my opinion. Others opinions may vary. lol. This car has lots of nice options and features like premium alloy wheels, premium audio system, power driver seat with leather/cloth combo, power windows, sport steering wheel, side body cladding, and a host of other nice features and options. What a cool little car! Stop by and check it for yourself. Thanks for looking! VIN# 1G4NM54N7NC626286
