Green and Yellow: 1974 Toyota Crown Super Saloon

The Toyota Crown was never exported to the United States, maybe because it was too cool for anyone who drives on the right side of the road, or maybe because the product planners at Toyota wanted their Lexus brand to be a smashing success. Today’s Crown Super Saloon was imported from Japan and has been given a sweet JDM taxi inspired paint job for a movie. Seller’s Description

1974 Toyota Crown RHD imported from Japan.
2.0L Inline 6 cylinder with side draft SU carbs, 5-speed manual, RWD, 70k miles
This car was in the movie “The Sea of Trees” and was made into a taxi for the movie in 2014.
It was recently completely repainted in the taxi theme.
The car has Chevelle coilovers in the front and lowering springs in the rear. I do have all the stock suspension and can be put back in easily.
15×8 Cragar sst wheels with new tires. I also have 15″ Toyota Century wheels that were on it during the movie.
All new weather stripping in the doors as well and resealed front and back glass.

Car runs and drives perfect so it can be driven home if needed. Just took it on a 300mi trip in 90°+ weather and got roughly 20mpg doing 70-75mph the entire time with no issues.

Clean Mass title in my name.
