Needs Manual Swap: 1992 Dodge Daytona IROC

When you think of Pony cars from the 80’s and 90’s the Dodge Daytona probably doesn’t come to mind. Camaro Iroc Z’s duked it out with Mustang 5.0’s for king of the street during this time period, but Dodge took over as primary sponsor of the IROC race series in 1991. The Daytona IROC R/T model ran from 1992-3 similar to the Spirit R/T sedan which shared the same 224 hp turbo drivetrain. Find this 1992 Dodge Daytona IROC offered for $1600 in West Covina, CA via craigslist.

Sheez… the fact that anyone associated the IROC badge with a V6/auto boggles the mind. Sure, the 5.0/305/auto in the Camaro wasn’t great either, but at least it was a cool car, etc.
Still, a great cash car for 1800 bucks!
Actually only $1600… and apparently it comes with cat.
It needs to be an original cat if you expect to register it in Cali.
So who or what is that fifth pic on the Craigslist post? Does that come with the car as well?
That is professor McGonagall examining the original window sticker.
