Many RPMs: 2005 Toyota Matrix XRS

This next car is an interesting car that should be on your radar, but you’ve probably driven by a few on the highway and not looked twice. Firstly, the Matrix was assembled at the NUMMI plant in the SF Bay Area, making these one of the few cars assembled in California in the 21st Century, but that isn’t the reason you should be intrigued. The reason you should be interested is that the engine inside this thing is the 2ZZ-GE inline-4 that is shared with the Lotus Elise and Celica GT-S and revs to 8000 rpm. Fun stuff! Took me a while to find a clean unmolested well cared for one and I have kept it that way.

Paint is good, but starting to get some clearcoat burn on roof and hood and front bumper. Hard to tell with the silver. 8.0
Interior is amazing. Leather wheel and shifter in good shape. Seat seats are fully supportive still. 9.0
Lots of accessories, oem weather floor, mats, rear trunk liner, brand new nets that have never been used. Wheels are starting to lose some clearcoat. 
Original owner was an older man in SoCal, I got it fully stock and put trd springs and progressive rear swaybar. Handles like a go kart on rails. Never abused or tracked.
Small oil leak on timing chain cover.
Magnaflow muffler, clean not obnoxious.
Mudflaps/splash guards.
Runs and drives fantastic.
