Manual Long Wheelbase: 2001 BMW 740il M-Sport

The E38 BMW 7-series was the third generation of BMW’s executive luxury sedan, and it was a masterclass in advanced features. Styling came from Boyke Boyer, but more notable is that it was the first car to be sold with curtain airbags and satellite navigation — but the array of technology like electronic damper control, park distance sensors, and double pane windows was the stuff of the future when it was introduced in 1995. Today, we’ve got a manual transmission equipped 740il (longwheelbase), but I think it might have originally been an automatic car based on the telltale PRNDL light on the dash. Find this 2001 BMW 740il M-Sport offered for $24900 in Tampa, FL via ebay motors.

This had to be a swap right? Even if it was a manual from the factory, $25k is a bit steep for a flat tire in the walk around video, tacky halo headlights, 161k on the clock, and no mention of timing chain guides being replaced. I would still love to have it, ultimate daily right there
Correction – definitely a swap after reading DT’s description. I think a mint-ier 740iL + paying a BMW indy to swap in the manual would cost less than $24999.99
