Magnesium Alloy: 2007 BMW 328i E92

I fully acknowledge my love of the BMW 3-series for everyday driven late model cars. And typically, I recommend people search for a used and abused M3 in their price range to get the best bang for the buck because BMW puts so much more love into their ///M models…but…BUT…sometimes the most basic barebones BMW 3-series is the best because who needs all those gadgets and turbos and flappy-paddle-gear-changers and things anyway. All you really need to have fun an a 3-series is a magnesium-alloy engine block and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Find this 2007 BMW 328i offered for $9800 in La Verne, CA via craigslist.

Zero accident!!!! Car in amazing condition.

I did not plan on selling this car but due to the wife not having to drive to work for the foreseeable future it no longer makes sense for me to drive three cars myself. Selling this car was a painful decision. This is my baby, I absolutely adore this car and it’s in excellent condition mechanically, interior and exterior as well. I’m probably highly biased, but I think this car looks timelessly elegant, it’s still beautiful after all these years and looks incredibly modern.

For those of you that don’t know, this is the best version to own of the E92 3 series for many reasons: Mechanically speaking, there is very few to go wrong. It’s a 6 speed manual, and the N52 engine is known for it’s reliability with many engines now into the 200,000 mile + mark and still going strong. This car has the sport package, so you get sports suspension, sports seat (fantastic because they are comfortable, highly adjustable and also don’t wear) 18 inch sport rims. I put brand new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tires on these, it is staggered front to rear 225-40-18 and 255-35-18. For fuel economy, it is so unbelievably efficient for a car of this nature and speed. I “AVERAGE” 26.1mpg(see proof from trip computer), while highway is roughly 31mpg. I have bluetooth audio installed. Mechanically speaking, this car is completely stock and still drives like new. It is a relatively low mileage car given the year of the car. AC ice cold. I’ve barely drive it year for the past year. I have made some minor aesthetics improvements throughout the car both exterior and interior. Daytime running lights are LED rather than the stock halogen. Car has almost no vibration because the engine mount is new, clutch is also new. The clutch is progressive with an early bite point (new clutch, quite easy to drive)
As for maintenance, there really isn’t much to do except regular oil changes and cabin filter changes, there really isn’t much running costs. My (huge) loss, your gain. Hopefully it goes to someone that will love this car as much as I do.
