Luxury Liner: 1994 Lincoln Town Car

(by CFlo) Look at this Town Car – it’s clean AF. $6k asking, in a great color combo, 102k miles, and it’s the early version of this generation. To me the bigger headlights and older rectangular dash of the 1990-’94 work much better with the overall design theme vs. the facelift and swoopy mid-90s dash (that one lasted until the death of the Crown Vic in 2011 – same dash!). Find this 1994 Lincoln Town Car offered for $6000 in Los Angeles, CA via craigslist.

Thanks for posting up some of my recent tips! Would be fun to get back in the swing of writing some DT posts, if the angry mob commentariat will have me, that is 😉
CFlo, that towncar is off-the-chart. It is bodacious. The only thing missing is Paul Anka “And his amigos” Cassette Tape. https://www.ebay.com/itm/255677285608
Here is Paul Anka and Julio Iglesias singing “my way”. That’s an ode to Lincoln styling from the 90s, for sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-k-DGpX7MWs&list=PLxY43SOvfy7_O1iolwB9QQOvcWjvE-bIR
This is awesome, I probably have fallen asleep in the back of one of these a hundred times between LaGuardia or Midtown and Park Slope. I would get in and everything would be fine except for some small detail that would show a lot of wear like the inside door handle. “Nice car, how many miles?” “ 600,000 it’s my baby!” Then some story about having to replace the drive shaft after falling into a hole but other than that only routine maintenance.
The only problem driving one in NYC is that every time you stop in the middle of the block someone would try to get into the car.
Hard to believe how overbuilt these are.
I think compu-cars fleet were all painted like this. My job would give books of vouchers for them.
