LQ9 out of GM truck, pistons gapped for boost. Built 4l80 transmission, external cooler, 3,000 stall, B&M shift kit.Currie rear end gears, LSD, 31 spline axles. Detroit steel wheels. Twin 76mm Borg Warner turbos. LS7 injectors, running street tune on stock gm computer. HD alternator, optimal yellow top. Baer 4 piston front, GM truck rear discs with wilwood master. Thick aluminum radiator/intercooler. Custom exhaust, custom aluminum fuel cell in stock location, still has 3rd row seats!
Its on a safe street tune right now. Its injectors and fuel pump plus dyno tune from pushing 900+ to wheels.
Interior needs work. No heat/AC/Radio. Its a hot rod 🤷♂️

Yeah. the stuff of nightmares. I took my teenager driver license test in a 69 brown faded petrowood ford wagon. this fella’s doppleganger. minus all the hot-roddy stuff. but already with a similar paint job back in ’76. Fortunately, rural town NY DMV test course was in a low trafficked area wide streeted that could accommodate K- turning this Nimitz class vehicle. Shudder. the PS on this era of Ford full size chassis felt like one was piloting watercraft. Unsure how well that plays with 900hp to the rear axle.
The 1″ roll bars with beefy rolling stock and suspension work help. it actually corners pretty flat!! And the brakes are fantastic, even by modern standards
