LBGP Pro-Am Racer? 1994 Toyota Celica GT
The sixth generation Toyota Celica was produced from 1993 through 1999 and offered a reliable, compact, and sporty driving experience for the common man. It wasn’t expensive like the Supra, but it offered a reasonable amount of power mated to a manual gearbox for a decent price. Not much has changed, except today’s feature handles better than when it left the factory. The first thing that comes to mind when you see a Toyota Celica GT advertised as “prepared by TRD” is the car might be an ex Toyota Grand Prix Celebrity Pro-Am racer. A search of the internet confirms that the mid 90s Pro-Am Celicas used a very similar paint job…but this could be a tribute.
The 2.2 liter 5S-FE inline-4 was rated at 135 horsepower/145 ft-lbs of torque in the showroom, but this one with an open exhaust, header, & intake, should be good for a few more

I notice there is no VIN number (yes I know that that's like saying vehicle identification number number ) on this car so maybe it really is a TRD car. Having a Celica without any VIN might be tricky in some states where the assumption is that no VIN = removed VIN = stolen car = sent to the crusher.
Am I the only person who read LBGT Pro Am and thought of something else entirely until I noticed it was LBGP?
