Green Screen: 1963 Willys Jeep CJ-5

There are two basic groups of people. The first is the person who comes up with dozens of reasons you shouldn’t drive an Army Jeep every day…safety, comfort, fuel, etc, etc. And the second group is the kind of person who realizes just how awesome it would be a cruise the roads of your locale with something that can be fixed with a screwdriver and a can of Coors. Find this 1963 Willys Jeep CJ-5 bidding for $5,200 with 1 day to go located in Brookfield, WI via ebay motors.

From the seller:
Loved Jeeps my whole life. My father was a engineer at Amc/Jeep. So I started to collect Jeeps over the past 30 years. I want the best unfortunately I put way to much money into this. Over the last 2 1/2 years or 83 miles I put 5 brand new tires, radiator, carburator, fuel tank, sending unit, r/F hub, bearings, seals, alternator, electric fuel pump, mirrors , taillights, fenders, tailgate , chains , soft top, leaf springs & bushings, etc etc etc. Had my seat guy find some vintage 1960s nos green vinyl. The winch is not just for looks, it does work. New base clear coat custom metallic green paint. Materials alone were $2,500 for the paint job. By no means am I trying to represent this as a 100 point show Jeep. It’s not. It’s 60 year old used truck. Looks good, runs good, but don’t take it to Pebble Beach.
This truck has a Utah issued title. The seller told me it was never registered and the mco was lost. The original owner bought it for his cabin and never registered it. He passed away and then his son sold it.

Those front fenders are so wrong.
Incorrect body panels = one less thing to worry about when you go play on the trails.
