French For Van: 1987 Renault 4

When was the last time you saw a Renault 4 in this nice condition? Okay, let’s try that again, when was the last time you saw a Renault 4? Unless you are one of the few hundred (or thousand?) kooks who owns one of these things in the States, you probably have never seen a Renault 4 in the wild, but I wouldn’t mind adding this one to my stable. Find this 1987 Renault 4 offered for $7,750 in Worcester, MA via craigslist. Tip from ME.

This beautiful 1987 Renault 4TL has been acquired by us from its first owner in Spain.
Because it has spent it’s entire life in Spain the car is completely rustfree.

Last year it has been repainted in it’s original cream white color.
The interior is in great condition for its age, also everything is original inside.
Under the hood lies a 1108cc 4-speed engine/transmission which is in perfect working condition.
The posted mileage is 93400km because we still drive it on sunny days, this car is so cute that we can’t resist it.This car is a guarantee for a lot of thumbs up and conversation.
At the moment we have it in our warehouse in the Netherlands with a current technical inspection.
The posted price excludes shipping to the US, we can arrange delivery in every town in the US.
Estimated shipping time ranges between 4-6 to the Eastcoast. We always have multiple European French and Italian classic cars for sale.
For more information please contact us.

I would find it more appealing if it was packing a 6.0 litre LS.
Wow, it even comes with a parquet dance floor!
Being a mid engine to car, of course it has a wacky shift linkage, but I can’t actually think of any other car where the shifter goes over the top of the engine quite like this.
Mid engined
Darn iPhone thinks it knows what I’m saying
Best to leave it in Holland or send it to France.
Walking around Porto today saw one driving along in white, natch!
