Family Vette: 1996 Buick Roadmaster

For the 1994 model year, the Buick Roadmaster got a big powerplant upgrade when it ditched the old L03/L05 V8 and replaced it with an LT1 V8 with more horsepower, torque, and better fuel economy. These have been an inexpensive “family-vette” for as long I can remember, but they are starting to become collectible. Find this 1996 Buick Roadmaster offered for $2600 in San Pedro, CA via facemaster roadmarket.

The ultimate beach wagon! This thing is a total beast of a car. I named her B— short for Bonita Applebum. This is a one of a kind automobile, the last year of the last decade of Americana. It’s a classic station wagon; yes, it has the rear-facing seat so you can relive your 1980s on a trip to the video store.
Let’s talk about the features. Aluminum classic Boyd Coddington rims. This girl had all her features upgraded by Chip Foose; shaved off hood ornament and door lock delete give har class and style.
I gave her rear airbags, Impala front springs, and shock absorbers less than 10k miles ago.
New ignition, water pump less than 5k miles ago.
5.7 L LT1- same block as they put in the Corvette. She runs real smooth and quiet, but tons of power, just what you’d expect from a Buick.
600w stereo— Kenwood deck, Pioneer amp, Rockford in the front, middle and subs.
190k miles. Just passed smog reg current
The bad— passenger front and rear window doesn’t roll down. Ac has a leak and needs to be repaired. Some scuffs and scratches. Rear tires need to be replaced. Interior door lock switch needs a new fuse. Rear hatch needs to be oiled, the latch isn’t keeping it closed. There are Some minor interior problems. I used the car for the beach so it could use a good detailing.
Cash only! Open to trading for a truck
Absolutely no low ballers, don’t waste my time or yours! Due to increased interest, I’m looking for people who are willing to pay my price— not im not in a rush to sell!!
