DT Off To Laguna Seca for Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion

DT E-i-C Vince: We’re off for the next three days watching cars race around the beautiful Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey. I’ve scheduled a few featured cars to keep you guys entertained, but posts will be light as I’ll be camping at the race and won’t have much of an internet connection. I will, however, post some photos and videos on DT’s Instagram account, so follow us if that is your kinda thing. I will also try and post a few updates from the track via mobile, but I apologize now if the formatting is wacky.

And I will post some photos from the event when I get back into civilization.

If you are going to be around the track, send me a note: tips@dailyturismo.com
I haven’t been back to the Monterey Classic in over a decade and am really, seriously quite jelly. Watching classic iron duke it out at Laguna Seca is a thrill and attending the high end auctions and watching rich people make make poor decisions is similarly fun.
Please dear god tell me there’s going to be a Concours d”Lemons at Monterey this year?
Won’t make it this year but here is a little piece I did a few years ago

The rich are indeed a different species. I can’t imagine smashing historic Ferraris with the same abandon as one balls up a Kleenex and tosses it into the bin.
