Doctor Ordered Sale: 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham
If you surf craigslist on a regular basis, you’ve probably seen everything. People claiming all kinds of stuff that clearly isn’t true (this is one of one) and then random threats director at strangers (if nobody buys it, I’m going to polish the headlights and then double the price)…but this next advert has something I’ve never seen before…a seller who claims he is dying and needs to dispose of his car collection in a “pre-death” estate sale so his next of kin doesn’t have to bother…and while I respect the sentiment, I’m kinda horrified. Not horrified enough to NOT post this…but wow. Find this 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham offered for $5400 in Live Oaks, GA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Sheez these things were massive 2-doors, as so many were. Something about this size of a coupe has always been cool to me. It just needs to be black, lowered and with a set of steel wheels…
Steelies make (nearly) every car cooler, don’t they.
Just an observation, but this seller spent quite a bit of their limited remaining time on authoring this description. Which is quite considerate of them, given what they could otherwise be doing instead.
His 1966 Oldsmobile 442 looks more inviting to me.
It's nice – you take the 442 and save me the 58 Impala…
This car had been for sale for over 5 years! He'd change the price from over $10,000 to $5000 and up and down dozens of times over the years!
