Somebody (probably a marketing executive) told me that spice is the variety of life. Wait. That’s not right. Variety is the spice of life? Yes. That’s more like it. Therefore, to add some variety to DT, I decided to feature a vehicle that we’ve never featured before, no not some one-off custom Zamboni based supercar, but a BMW and one that you see on the streets on a routine basis. The BMW X6 is, by all reasonable accounts, an ugly vehicle. But what about Latin saying; De gustibus non est disputandum? And everything sounds better in Latin? Right? Wrong — because the drunk Roman who came up with that saying had too much lead in his goblet or hadn’t seen an X6 yet. The only thing redeeming about these cars is that they are reportedly fun to drive and if you don’t believe me, you should believe this guy who wears huge slacks.
