The Volvo 1800ES was a shooting brake version of Volvo’s aging P1800/1800S/1800E platform, meant to breath new life in the old parts. The frameless glass tailgate equipped version only sold 8,000 units for the ’72 & ’73 model years, but the prices don’t really reflect that level of exclusivity, but prices have been going up in the past few years. This next version looks to need some interior sorting, but if the paint looks as good in person as it does in the pictures, it could be a good deal. Find this 1972 Volvo 1800ES offered for $11,000 in San Jose, CA via craigslist.

1972 Volvo P1800 ES Runs great, rebuilt engine with 2000 miles on it. I have a spare rear glass hatch, a new headliner and a spare fuel tank. The Wipers and Blower motor for the heater need to be re-wired
