Cult of Wassergekühlt: 1995 Porsche 968

The Porsche 968 is not the prettiest Porsche to be built in the 1990s, but it is one of the rarest. And that means something in the cult or Porsche, or it should. The fact is the 968 is still a hidden gem in the front-engine water-cooled Porsche experience and it will be worth something someday. But for now, they are cheap. Find this 1995 Porsche 968 offered for $13,500 in Phoenix, AZ via craigslist.

Up for sale is my 1995 Porsche 968. Runs and drives great. Original Paint (has oxidation on the hood and roof). The car is clean inside and out. I have service records dating back to original purchase date.

According to the 968 registry, Porsche only made 258 of these in 1995 for the North American market. What makes it even better is the 6 speed manual. Must see to appreciate!
I love this car and hate to sell it but I just need the money. If you would like more pictures or any additional information feel free to reach out. Priced for a quick sale.

I wonder if any of the interior has been redone because it appears to have held up well in the AZ sun if it’s original. Better than the paint at least.
I’d enjoy a 968, but the inevitable Porsche repair bills make me think twice about taking the next step.
Cant be much different than any other Euro bucket from the era. Key is to buy one well cared for and don’t cheap out on a PPI. Those few hundred bucks may save you bucket loads of cash and hours of agony. Had an ‘86 944 , still think back fondly of it but judging by its upkeep, or should I say lack of, previous owner didn’t think of it as I highly as I did…
