Coolest Van Ever: 1995 Nissan Largo Autech Highway Star

They (you know…them…those) keep saying that there is no such thing as a cool minivan. But the Largo Autech Highway Star has a serious disagreement with them. Seriously. Mid engine cab-over design. Yes. Factory (Autech was Nissan’s JDM turning company) body kit, some wicked purpose stripes, sunroof setup that makes Vista Cruiser owners jealous, and middle row swiveling seats so the kids can play a game of Settlers of Catan on a long road trip. Boom. Coolest mini van eva. Find this 1995 Nissan Largo Autech Highway Star offered for $9,500 in Noblesville, IN via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Lowered price for quicker sale, as the nice weather has me itching for something fun to drive for the summer. Clean title in my name, asking $9,500 obo. Would be willing to trade for something fun to drive, preferably manual.

I have to wonder how long that thing takes to get up to cruising speed with that little 2.4l gas motor; probably still way faster than my 2.5l diesel (powered)Delica. Love the placement of spare tire, maybe an ode to Subaru wagons of the 80s or trying to lure potential buyers in to serviceability of mid engine w/hood only to find most of that space stuffed w/a spare tire?
Nobody gonna take my car
I’m gonna race it to the ground
Nobody gonna beat my car
It’s gonna break the speed of sound
… tho as noted, getting up to that velocity with 2.4 l i-4 may take a fair while.
Yeah baby!
