Coolest Car In Town: 1991 Honda Beat
What is the cheapest mid-engined, rear-drive, car with styling by Pininfarina? I’m not sure, but the Honda Beat is certainly the smallest, if not the most affordable, car with styling by Pininfarina. Find this 1991 Honda Beat offered for $5,995 near Seattle, WA via craigslist. Tip from BuickFan.
The Honda Beat is supposedly the last car to be approved for production by Soichiro Honda before he went to the great junkyard in the sky, but regardless, the little Kei car was built from 1991 through 1996. Power comes from a 656cc inline-3 that pushes 64 horsepower into a 5-speed manual transaxle mated to the rear wheels.

Very cool, and fairly priced. I would drive this. But I have to say that in the Kei world, I might hold out for an AutoZam.

Especially for the crazy car lovers, Honda has come out with a seductive new model called Honda s2000 about which no one have a statement to give against. Used Honda s2000 are the gems out of all these in the used car industry.
