Classically Rad: 1997 BMW Z3

Happy St Patrick’s Day: Have a green car! People pay a lot of money for new cars each and every day. According to various industry reports there were over 16 million new cars sold in 2025, or 43K per day, or 30 new cars sold per minute in the USA. So every two seconds, somebody buys a car, and yet they don’t buy something like this. Strange. I guess it means more cheap used cars for me. Find this 1997 BMW Z3 offered for $4,500 in Aptos, CA via craigslist.

These things are way underrated as grand tourers. They never live up to the sports car name, but for a fun enough car to go on adventures they are really nice. They are like a Miata that is better 80% of the time and really disappointing the other 20% of the time.
