Classic Wagon: 1971 Opel Kadett B Wagon

The Opel Kadett was a small family car manufactured by the GM’s German subsidiary Opel starting way back in 1936.  The modern Kadett started its A, B, C… nomenclature with the 1962 release of the Kadett A, and this next one looks like a really interesting driver for the cash.  Find this 1971 Opel Kadett Wagon offered for $4,500 in the SF Bay Area, CA via craigslist.  Tip from Kaibeezy.

The Kadetta B was  built from 1965 through 1973 and was available in 8 different body styles, includling a 4-door, 2-door, 4-door fastback, 4-door fastback…checkout this image for a full list.

Powering this thing is an Opel inline-4, either a 1.2 liter, 1.7 liter or 1.9 liter engine — this looks like the 1.9 if I can trust the results of a google image search, but perhaps some Opel expert can clarify this in the in the comments.
