Cheap Golf Thing: 2001 Audi TT

I love cheap cars as much as the next guy…probably more, in fact, but a sub $3k Audi TT is pushing the limits of what you’d want to drive around without a chase car. The first generation Audi TT was a re-badged VW Golf, but I don’t say that in a bad way. This next car will need some restoration before you can take it to the next German car show, but for the asking price it isn’t bad. Find this 2001 Audi TT offered for $2,500 in San Marcos, CA via craigslist.

From the seller:

2001 audi tt

This Audi TT is a looker from the outside with new tires and certified tint. However, interior the headliner needs replacement and the driver seat has cosmetic damage. The car has been sitting in my garage and hasn’t been used. The battery is also dead. If you want an Audi TT this is it, but it’ll require some interior cosmetic work. The engine runs great! never had an issue. The clutch and breaks are also solid. Clean original engine 150,000 miles.

The vehicle has a clean title and never been in an accident. However, plates and the vehicle is planned non-operational PNO and can not be driven. Selling as is at a firm price of $2500.
