Can You Heel-Toe In Swimfins? 1964 Amphicar Model 770

The Amphicar isn’t often posted on the pages of DailyTurismo — in fact, we’ve only featured two examples of the amphibious wackadoodle in the past 8 years of brining the best junk for sale on the web. I don’t have anything against floating cars, and it is mostly because they are so blooming expensive — however, today’s example is rusty, crusty, and CHEAP! Find this 1964 Amphicar Model 770 offered for $7,500 in Port Charlotte, FL via craigslist. Tip from Dascpcu.

Nice typo! Brined, for sure. Was that a test?
Between the water bug and the tin worm not much left….need a better canvas…..
If you ever find yourself in Disney Springs (Walt Disney World’s shopping arcade), you can go for a ride around their lagoon in an original (restored) Amphicar. It’s pretty cool. And a LOT cheaper than trying to find one and get ‘er running.
-Stan (the *other* Stan…)
You could also buy a Triumph Herald and drive it into a lake. Lower odds of vehicular survival, but the experience would briefly be similar.
I see that this example has the dive option installed.
Permanently enabled unfortunately.
iPhone kept thinking I was trying to type Permeability rather than Permanently – maybe it’s on to something.
A little rust in the floorboards and rockers never killed anyone. Oh, wait…
