California Car: 1982 Peugeot 505 Diesel

The Peugeot 505 was released in 1979 with an exterior designed by Pininfarina and an interior by famed French car designer Paul Bracq. The 505 was successful all over the developing world, where its comfortable ride over rough roads and simple front engine / rear drive layout made the constant repairs easy for non-French reading mechanics. The North American consumer was slightly less friendly to the 505 as expectations for day-to-day reliability were much higher. So, a few clean examples of the 505 remain on the road today of the 1.3 million sold through 1999. Find this 1982 Peugeot 505 Diesel offered for $3,750 in Tarzana, CA via craigslist.

A fairly hard to find 5 speed manual 505 Diesel. Good running condition. Decently repainted a few years ago the clear coat is now peeling off the upper surfaces. Nice interior.
California car from new. Sunroof inoperative. Clear California title in my name (DMV non-op/ no back fees due).
Odometer shows 239208 miles.
Most 505 Diesels sold in the US were automatics. This one is better performing 5 speed stick shift.
