Buick V6 Power: 1975 Triumph TR7

This next car comes as a tip from Cory who writes: Swapped out one turd of a motor for another. The later 3800’s were warp years better than the 1981 231 carb engine. Find this 1975 Triumph TR7 offered for $3900 in Middletown, RI via craigslist.

Custom 1975 TR-7 coupe with an engine conversion to a Buick V6.
The troublesome 4cyl engine was swapped out for a Buick 231 out of a 1981 Regal.
The 4 speed manual transmission was swapped out for a GM T700R4 automatic transmission.
Other features include a custom paint job and ground effects, dual exhaust, plaid interior, low profile tires.
I’ve owned this for 10+ years and probably only put 300 miles on it. It’s been a fair weather car and is usually garaged.
It’s a fun summertime toy.
I have a few extra parts that go with it including the chrome luggage rack that fits on the trunk lid.
I have just put on 4 new tires.
The trunk, roof, and hood paint has started to fade a bit and can be brought back to life with a good reconditioning.
There is also a curb crunch on the front passenger side spoiler.
