Brickyard 400 Pace Car: 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Way back in 1995, Chevrolet decided the best way to cash in on NASCAR fans was with a front wheel drive Monte Carlo dressed like a purple and gold Solo cup, and somehow it worked. This Brickyard 400 Pace Car is less used car and more Smithsonian exhibit, having accumulated just 860 miles, most of them apparently driven while whispering apologies to the throttle. It exists at the approximate intersection of motorsports history, dealership excess, and late-Clinton-era optimism, complete with exclusive leather, pace car decals that scream importance, and enough memorabilia to open a mall kiosk. Find this 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Official Pace Car offered for $20,000 in Lake County, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

1995 Monte Carlo Inaugural Brickyard 400 Pace Car. Thirty year old car in new condition with only 860 original miles. Only133 maintenance miles till recently. Loved and cared for by NASCAR fanatic. #250 of 400 produced. At the time, there were some 2800 Chevrolet Dealerships in the US, so obviously not every dealership got one. Climate controlled storage. Never driven in rain. Fabulous history. Car is as new. Flawless leather interior not offered on any other Monte Carlo. Thousands of dollars in memorabilia and collectibles. Two window stickers NEVER installed on car. I have never seen this before. Fresh ceramic coating costing $2000. Perfect original tires with only 150 miles on them. New Michelins on car. Includes set of mint Halibrand wheels with new tires, I was going to use. Original embroidered floor mats in trunk. DOHC four value per cylinder V6. CA personalized black plates “FRST 400”. The first NASCAR event to be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. If fact, the only non-indycar race held there since 1916. One of the largest paid sporting events in US history, with over 350,000 tickets sold out in a matter of hours. Health forces sale. Needs absolutely NOTHING. No offers, no trades. Serious only, please. LATE ADDITION: I have already dealt with numerous scammers. This is the LAST time I will put ANYTHING on Craigslist. Thank you for ruining this, you idiots.
