Billionaire investor/car guy/Yugo lover Malcom Bricklin first started importing the Subaru 360 in 1968, selling them for a starting price of $1,297. Unfortunately, importation of the 360 ended in 1969, shortly after the muckrakers at Consumer Reports labeled the lightweight as “Not Acceptable” due to safety concerns. However, today’s 360 Ladybug isn’t a true Ladybug, it is Ladybeetle, because it is a 360 body sitting on a Type 1 Volkswagen pan. Find this 1968 Subaru 360 Ladybug offered for $3,000 in Massillon, OH via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Selling a cool little car a 68 subaru. On 63 vw pan and motor. Runs good. Not much bigger than a golf cart. I drive it to local car shows. Floor is decent. It has 12 inch rims and tires. Good ohio title. Might trade for another old car
