Here is a challenge for you folks on the interweb — find me a car that’ll go around a proper American road course (let’s say Laguna Seca) faster than this next thing for a similar amount of money. Some basic stats for the base C5; 350 horsepower LS1 V8, 6-speed manual, 3200 lbs curb weight, 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and on to 13.3 at 108mph in the 1/4 mile…and you get all that (plus some peeling paint!) for $7k.
