HUGE
YUGE
Chevy or GMC? Seems like they can't decide (not that it matters much). Nice truck, dig the three door setup. Kinda wonder how it handles being lowered like that, which is probably the wrong question to ask about a truck like this.
I don't see any seatbelts, which would be an issue here in Illinois. After 1968 all vehicles (except buses) were required to be fitted with seatbelts (lap belts at that time) to meet federal motor vehicle safety standards.
In Illinois the seatbelt laws only exempt vehicles "with a model year prior to 1965." Which is a minor pita for anyone who owns a classic car with a model year of 1965-1967 which might not originally have been equipped with belts, nor required to be at that time.
I'm sure appropriate lap belts can be fitted, but it's one more thing to think about.
Personally I miss the days when I was a kid and could stretch out in the rear seat, lay across it like a sofa. No child safety seat for me. I can remember being a little tyke and laying across the package shelf under the rear window in our Chevrolet Caprice, looking up at the stars as dad drove down I-55.
