Amalaising Green: 1978 Dodge Monaco

The 4th generation Dodge Monaco was a big malaise era equivalent of striped velour v-neck shirt. This thing reeks of chest carpets and overgrown man-hair held back by a tennis headband (see Bjorn Borg at Wimbledon in 1978 for reference in case you weren’t alive back then or lived under a rock)….and I love it. Find this 1978 Dodge Monaco offered for $9900 in Greenville, SC via craigslist.

Up for grabs is our 1978 Dodge Monaco coupe. This car is in great shape, with 50K original miles and near flawless green metalflake paint that shows extremely well. This car is ready to take to a car show and win a trophy! Rust free condition top and bottom, check out the pictures underneath. It comes equipped with 318-4bbl power, automatic transmission, air conditioning, delay wipers, tilt wheel, cruise control, and all the comforts of home. Fresh service, and the tires have great tread left. The flaws are all pretty minor–AC needs to be charged to R134A, there are two small blemishes on the white vinyl top, and the passenger side wiper arm is not working. And no, I don’t need any help selling this car!!
