Aerodynamic Personnel Vehicle: 1993 Chevrolet Lumina APV

Someone described this Lumina APV as a vehicle designed in the 80s to look like it came from 2020. I can’t say that I could come up with a better description of the Pontiac Trans Sport concept vehicle and the Lumina APV’s that came as production version. Personally, I’d rather look at the front end of this thing than a CyberTruck any day of the week. Find this 1993 Chevrolet Lumina APV offered for $3,500 in Toledo, OH via Unique Cars for Sale 2.0 on the freklebook mershplace.

From the seller:
Selling my 1993 Lumina APV.
A little over 90,000 miles.
One owner. I bought it new in 1993.
Never been driven in the winter.
Rear air.
Air compressor with the load leveling suspension.
Factory sunroof.
3.8 V6.
Originally a 5 seat car, but I have an extra seat so it seats 6 now. (Doesn’t match)
Passenger side window switch does not work. Window works, but you need to use the button on the drivers door to operate.
Spring for the contact on the sliding door needs replaced. You must lock/unlock the door manually.
Has slight leak in the AC and needs to be recharged.
The rear shocks that hold the tailgate open need replaced as they will no longer hold the tailgate up.
Van runs good, however it has not been driven on the road in about 8 years. It gets started multiple times a year and moved around in my pole barn, but I haven’t had it on the road in a while. I would suggest having it looked over before driving a long distance.
The van is in excellent condition even with the few items that need attention that I listed above.

I recall cleaning the inside of the front glass on these was a chore for those with long arms.
Flipside, had plenty of room to slow down and stop anything coming through the windshield.
Somehow it looks better today than I remember it looking when they were new.
I always thought these looked like shuttles from Star Trek
