LS Turbo Beast: 1998 Volvo V90

Hey honey, I’m going to buy a Volvo to replace my current daily driver. It’s boxy and safe. Why does it sound like that? It’s turbocharged, many Volvos were factory turbocharged. Why does it have sticky R-compound tires? Safety. Track-rated rubber will cut at least 20 feet off a 100 mph to zero stopping distance, if hypothetically I was going 100 mph. Fuel economy? I’d rather prioritize the safety of my kids over the cost of a few gallons of premium gas. How expensive to repair parts? Its got a rare factory GM motor, so parts are way cheaper than the stuff you need to import from Sweden, so its gonna be cheap for maintenance. Yes, automatic transmission so you can drive it if your minivan is in the shop. I’m not sure if this is the best car to have our daughter learn to drive, but what’s the worst that can happen? Find this 1998 Volvo V90 offered for $10,000 in Clifton Park, NY via facemelting pavementmarket. Tip from Cory.

Seller’s description
Will not respond to is this available.
Bought this in April to keep for a summer or 2 because i missed having a fun car, life’s situation changed and id rather just have bikes right now. Not in a rush to sell as im still driving it on the weekends.
This car is super fast and fun, probably around 500hp. Wouldn’t sell it to an inexperienced driver.

This seems like it would be amazingly fun. Letterman Volvo at 1/10th the cost vibes.
