DT Migrating Our Daily Newsletter

A quick housekeeping note for those of you who get DailyTurismo delivered directly to your inbox. We are in the process of moving the DT daily email newsletter to a new service. If you already receive the daily email, please do not re-subscribe, sign up again, create a second account, sacrifice a carburetor to the internet gods, or otherwise try to “fix” anything. Our IT* experts are working on migrating the existing subscriber list over, so if you already receive the newsletter, just sit tight.
Why the change? Our longtime newsletter provider, MailPoet, has reached the exciting stage of the software-company lifecycle where a relatively simple service’s prices go up faster than flames on a Pinto. At DT’s last shareholders and advisory board meeting, someone (who shall remain nameless) from the accounting department looked at the credit-card statement, spilled some Jim Beam, and said: “Wait, how much is MailPoet? Are they even real poets?”
So MailPoet is getting the boot. We are testing the replacement now (follow.it**) and will move existing subscribers over tomorrow (or Tuesday at the latest) when we’re convinced it actually sends emails, doesn’t sell your kidneys, and generally behaves itself.
If you’re already subscribed: do nothing. If you’re not subscribed: SHAME ON YOU. You can sign up on the panel to the right or here.
There may be a brief interruption in your regularly scheduled delivery of questionable used cars. Rest assured that the questionable used cars themselves will continue unabated.

*IT stands for Italian.
**it in this case has nothing to do with Italian.

Yes, but are they Italian experts or experts in Italian?
