Yamaha Power: 1994 Mazda Miata

The next car started life was a 1994 Mazda Miata, but the normal front-engine roadster layout has been thrown out in favor of a mid-mounted 2004 Yamaha RX-1 snowmobile engine. With a 1000cc Yamaha 4-cylinder motorcycle engine mounted in the passenger seat, this thing brings more chaos to your daily drive than a van full of starving raccoons while wearing bacon pants. Find this 1994 Mazda Miata offered for $2000 in Rosamond, CA via facemarket driftbook.

1994 Mazda Miata converted to a mid-engine drift machine. Powered by a 2004 Yamaha RX-1 1000cc 4-cylinder motor with a CVT belt-drive system. No reverse. Front radiator is plumbed and functional.
Runs and drives. As seen in photos, it needs a hood and front fenders (left/right). I’ve dropped the price to reflect the bodywork needed.
I have a Bill of Sale for the Miata and the Pink Slip in hand for the RX-1 motor.
$2000. I have over $5,000 in parts and custom fabrication into this build. Only selling to fund my next project.
