J-Body Survivor: 1987 Cadillac Cimarron

In the late 1970s, Cadillac had a problem that was not unlike the problem it has today. Their buyers were old. Really old. Instead of just waiting for Chevrolet buyers to age, the GM execs instructed Caddy product planners to bring some cars that appealed you younger buyers, such as a Cadillac based on the J-body Cavalier. Rumors have it that Cadillac engineers described the project as something invented by “some moron,” which evolved into the name Cimarron. Anyway, these are almost extinct, but I would wait for the rare Cimmaron d’Oro version, however this one does have the V6. Find this 1987 Cadillac Cimarron offered for $5,500 in Los Angeles, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!
