5k: Italian Connection: 1974 Fiat 124 CC Coupe
The Fiat 124 CC Coupe was a handsome 3-box designed coupe from the Italians at Fiat and features a surprising number of connections to a certain Marenello based manufacturer. The basic mechanical parts from the Fiat 124 sedan were used, but the engine was designed by an ex-Ferrari engineer and Mario Boano – who was known for his work on the Ferrari 250 GT. Find this 1974 Fiat 124 CC Sport Coupe offered for $6,500 near the California/Oregon border.
The Fiat 124 was produced in 3 generations between 1967 and 1975, and while the owner of this one does not specify a model year, it seems to be a 1974 or 75. The 1.8 liter all-alloy inline-4 cylinder engine was good for 118 horsepower and allegedly could get the coupe up to 115 mph without the help of a hill. This one has been in “dry storage” for a few years and will need some work to get it going, but it doesn’t look like a total restoration job; sanding/griding/welding could be kept to a minimum.

Beige 😐 At what price of car and paint job would it be worth painting it this color?
