10k: I Wanna Go Fast: 1972 Toyota Corolla TE27
Wanna release your inner Ricky Bobby but you don’t have the funds of a Bobby Kennedy or sponsors like Bobby Allison? What you need is a cheap vintage racer and I can’t think of a better way to get into racing than with this a TE27 Corolla peanut offered for peanuts. Find this 1972 Toyota Corolla TE27 here on eBay
with $7,500 buy-it-now located in Cullman, AL.
The second generation Toyota Corolla (E20) is an example of a
cheap/fun/rear wheel drive vehicle that used to come from the worlds largest of
beige appliances. The TE27 was an internal designation for the SR5 coupe version.
The engine is 3T/2T race engine that has been professionally rebuilt and needs installation. The machine shop build sheets come with the engine, but the engine is only a longblock and you’ll need to source your own intake/exhaust/fuel and accessories.

Save the Sprite!
yeah the sprite in the background that didn't sell for $500 looks great,
but also in the background there is this
that looks like it is sort of a cross between a Seven and a truck.
A cheap entry into fun racing interests me, but is this really worth $7500? I've seen cheapos that are ready to race for around 10K.
